The UF PEK Exec Board consists of 7 members all working to promote Phi Epsilon Kappa and give its members the best experience possible. We have all been members and understand what it takes to make a great organization.

Meet the Exec Board

President: Amanda Krpan

My name is Amanda Krpan and I am an Applied Physiology and Kinesiology fitness/wellness major and minoring in Leadership. My ultimate dream job would be to work for the NFL or the USA Olympic Committee. I was born and raised in Gainesville and I love how PEK combines community service events, exercise, socials, and health education for the betterment of the UF and Gainesville communities!

External Vice President: Daniel Calderon

My name is Daniel Calderon and I'm the external vice president of PEK. I am a Junior APK major, hoping to one day be a Sports Therapist. I love playing sports and anything to do with exercise and fitness.

Internal Vice President: Chris Carey

I am a 3rd year Psychology major and am also pursuing a pre-law path. Right now for a career goal I'm leaning towards Constitutional law but I am still deciding. In addition to PEK I participate in various intramural sports including football and basketball. Going to the gym is something I really enjoy as well (except leg day...). Also, good luck getting me to do anything on Sundays during football season as I am glued to the TV all day watching the Steelers and checking fantasy football.

Secretary: Rachel Woodward

I am currently a senior at UF majoring in nutritional sciences. I am also obtaining a minor in leadership; which I hope will help me in my future career. I hope to attend a physical therapy grad school after graduation. I am interested in anything outdoors and love playing most sports. I am a partial adrenaline junkie; therefore skydiving is definitely on my bucket list.

Treasurer: Marjorie Wagoner

I'm Marjorie, a fourth year Athletic Training student. When I'm not taking care of PEK finances, I am helping with UF Woman's Soccer, gaining experience in the training field. I love sports, both playing and watching. I hope to get to know more and more members as the semester continues!

Treasurer: Gabrielle Sombelon

Hi my name is Gabrielle Sombelon but most people call me Gabby. This year I will be helping Marjorie with being the treasurer for PEK. I am a Senior in the Athletic Training program. I have worked as an athletic training student at Santa Fe College, UF Track and Field and am currently at Eastside High School. I am very passionate about athletic training and determined to spread awareness about how vital an athletic trainer is to the healthcare team. I enjoy watching and playing sports. I hope to get to know each and every member and have a great year with PEK!

Social Director: Sophie Gaines

My name is Sophie Gaines! I am originally from a small town in Texas but came to the Gator Nation for college. I am a fourth year as an applied physiology and kinesiology major. I have been a part of PEK since the spring of my second year and have loved it ever since! I will be attending graduate school for physical therapy after I graduate in the spring and couldn't be more excited about it!

Historian: Erin Waterman

My name is Erin Waterman and I am a sophmore Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, exercise physiology major. I'm from St. Petersburg, FL and my goal is to become a physical therapist. I'm an outdoors enthusiast and am interested in health and fitness. I am looking forward to a great year with PEK!
